Unattended Cars in Drop Off Circle

We are seeing cars being parked and left in the "Loading Zone" area in front of the school. This creates major traffic issues for drop off and pick up.

Please know that cars will be ticketed, too.

Thank you for helping us out!

Halloween Parade -

We will have our annual Halloween Parade on the Robinson field at 8.30 a.m. on the blacktop.  Students are encouraged to dress up in costumes and join in the parade; however, participation is completely voluntary.

We ask parents to carefully monitor your children's costumes so as to avoid outfits that are morbid, suggestive or in poor taste. Let's have fun, but remember it is a school event, so let's keep the attire appropriate.

Families are welcome to come out to watch the parade and join in the fun.

Back to School Night Recap

Thanks to all who joined us for our Back to School Night this year.

These are vital meetings to inform parents of curricular changes and expectations for the year. We hope you found them informative and enjoyable!

Last week you may have noticed that teachers were out of the classroom periodically. The district is providing extensive professional development related to the common core that will require teachers to be out at times throughout the year.

Before or After School Playground

Please note that we do not have supervision for students on the yard or play structures before or after school.

Please make sure that students are supervised by parents at all times before and after school and at their classroom door at the time the bell rings so that instruction can begin.

Our 4th and 5th graders have PE beginning at 8:10 on the lower field, so no students will be able to be on the field after that time.

Thanks for your understanding and your help keeping students safe, supervised, and prompt.
