Seeking New School Site Council and School Wellness Council Members - APPLICATIONS DUE FRI. APR. 28

Robinson’s School Site Council (SSC) has three parent member positions open for the 2017-2019 term, including one for Robinson’s Health and Wellness Chair. School Site Council (SSC) is a group of teachers, parents and classified employees that develop, review and evaluate school improvement programs. Council members typically participate for 2 years and meet five times a year for approximately one hour after school.

Beautification Week

Pull out a rake and help maintain Robinson’s grounds during Beautification Week.  Please consider signing up one day during lunch, or right after school, to clean up a small area around your child's class. Green cans will be located all around campus and students look forward to gathering leaves and trash, and stuffing the green cans to the brim!  Tools and gloves will be provided.  Thank you in advance for your efforts to help us clean up the campus!

SCRIP Pick-Up

Thank you for all your orders! SCRIP will be distributed April 25th – May 1st during pickup, near the cafeteria. Kinder SCRIP will be available for pick up via your classroom teacher. Email Janeen Caleo with questions.

Calling All Readers: Donate Books Today!

Over the next few weeks, Robinson is teaming up with Access Books and will be collecting new and gently used books for our upcoming Community Service event. We are asking each student to donate a few books, especially children's classics, student's favorites, or books on the Access Books Wish List.  This list can be found by clicking here. Collection bins will be provided outside classrooms and at the front office.

Manhattan Wine Auction, C’Est Magnifique!

Joing MBEF for the 23rd Annual Manhattan Wine Auction on Saturday, June 3rd at 4:30pm at the Manhattan Country Club. Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Testing

Between the dates of May 15th and June 2nd all 3rd graders will be given the OLSAT. This exam is used to identify Gifted and Talented (GATE) students. Please click here for more information.

League of Women Voters to Host Mental Health Panel

Fifth Grade Team Wins Odyssey of the Mind State Championship

The 5th grade team from Robinson Elementary captured the Odyssey of the Mind State Championship and is headed to the World Finals in May at Michigan State University! They placed first in Spontaneous Problem-Solving and First Overall in their division. Congratulations to team members: Bridget Ballantine, Callie Boren, Hunter Gregory, Chloe Hynes, William Kiely and Jonathan Voskuilen. Other MBUSD teams participated and shined at the tournament, including Pacific and Pennekamp.

Lost and Found is Full

Are you missing a jacket? Or perhaps 10 jackets, a bunch of lunch boxes, some water bottles and other assorted articles of clothing that found their way to school, but didn't come home? Our Lost and Found, located near the cafeteria, is overflowing with items that have been left behind. If your student is missing anything, please check it out before Spring Break! After April 7, all unclaimed items, from the S'Well bottles to the Jr. Guards hoodies, will be donated!

Girl Scouts Father-Daughter Dance

South Bay Wrestling Academy

The South Bay Wrestling Academy is designed to prepare 3rd to 8th grade boys and girls to have a successful high school experience in wrestling. The Academy is led by Coach Jim Chaney, who will use the same proven techniques that have turned the Mira Costa High School wrestling team into an overnight success. Coach Chaney became the head coach at Mira Costa during the 2013 season, took the last place team in the Bay League and turned them into CIF Champions and the most successful team in the area.

MBX - After School Enrichment Classes

Spring forward and sign up for the new After School Enrichment classes. Registration opens on March 22nd (9 a.m.) for the MBX After School Enrichment Spring Session classes!

Ladies Sunday Fun Day
