MB/X Foundation, in partnership with the Manhattan Beach Unified School District, sponsors and operates the After School Enrichment Program at Robinson Elementary School (RAP). The goal of this program is to provide students with the opportunity to supplement and enrich their current educational experience in a familiar and safe environment. All classes are held on campus at Robinson.
A variety of enrichment classes are offered throughout the year. Program offerings vary from session to session, but typically include sports, fine and language arts, science, music, drama and STEM/STEAM curriculum. Classes are taught by professional instructors and certificated teachers. Some classes are taught by Mira Costa High School students under the supervision of MCHS teachers.
There are three sessions: Fall, Winter and Spring, with registration usually in late August, December and March. Classes are available for PK/Kindergarten through Grade 5. Registration information is distributed via flier, the weekly news blast, “The Weekly Wave” and on the Robinson website.
