Dear Riptide Families:
Our school is closed until further notice so we can keep everyone safe and sound at home.
During this unprecedented time, we appreciate our Robinson community's patience and support as we learn how to navigate our way through a new distance learning model. Each day is a learning opportunity for staff, students and parents and as always, we're in this journey together. Our teachers hit the ground running on Day One and continue to expand their repertoire of distance learning activities and strategies daily. I'm proud of our Robinson community for coming together and making the best out of a difficult situation.
We miss you all and wish you well. I'll "see" you soon through Zoom!
COVID 19 Information-Resources for you to help guide conversations with your child.
Classroom Information – Teachers will be communicating with students in a variety of ways including via Google Classroom, Google Meet, Zoom, Flip Grid, Teacher-tube, and utilizing a variety of instructional strategies/resources to support student learning. Please be patient. Everyone is moving at a different pace so don't expect to see every teacher and every grade doing the exact same things. Teachers are working hard to design instruction that is developmentally appropriate and doable for your family.
- During this time, we encourage you to create a family schedule balancing school work, screen time, creative activities, exercise, chores, reading those just right books, outdoor activities and free time.
Social Distancing: IT's so important to adhere the the social distancing protocols. Here is a great article that I've already shared, but just in case...
- Future IEPs will be held virtually via Zoom (web or app).
- Your child's Case Carrier will be or has reached out to all of you to provide support.
- MBUSD will be on Spring Break from Friday, April 3rd at 3pm through Tuesday April 14th at 8am. Thank you for using this time to RELAX, enjoy family time AND give our staff a well needed break.
